Conclusion

This is my final post. I have enjoyed researching the Dead Sea Scrolls and I hope those of you who have taken the time to read my posts have enjoyed them as well.
There is a huge amount of information on the web and YouTube with regards to the Dead Sea Scrolls as well as many printed works. Although much of the information can be repetitive it is still quite interesting.

However there are still many unanswered questions regarding the scrolls such as who really wrote them and has all the information in the scrolls been released. The answers to these questions will probably be debated for a long time to come as everyone involved in the translation of the scrolls has their own opinion.

What can't be questioned is that the discovery of the scrolls opened a window into an era in history older than any found to date. They have provided confirmation of the books in the Old Testament and as such have provided an insight into early Judaism and Christianity.
