My research project will be looking at the history of the Dead Sea Scrolls.

I will be looking at the following areas:

• What are the Dead Sea Scrolls?


• When and where were the Dead Sea Scrolls discovered?


• What is the significance of their discovery, who wrote them and how do they relate to the history of books?


• Where are the majority of the scrolls currently stored/displayed?


• Who uses these scrolls?


• Does the information provided in the scrolls impact on current civilisation?
